Sleep apnea is one of the most common and under-diagnosed sleep disorders in Alberta. It causes you to stop breathing repeatedly during sleep, which fragments your rest and puts strain on your cardiovascular system. Many people with sleep apnea do not know they have it.

Just Sleep Care offers a complete virtual pathway for sleep apnea diagnosis and treatment. You complete the assessment from home using a WatchPAT device we ship to you. Your results are reviewed by a sleep specialist, and you receive a diagnosis and treatment plan, typically within a week of completing the test.

For diagnosing obstructive sleep apnea, WatchPAT home sleep tests are clinically validated and produce results comparable to in-lab polysomnography for most patients - both the AHI and RDI derived from the PAT were clinically validated with 89% correlation to PSG. Your specialist will advise if an in-lab sleep study is necessary in your case.
