About Just Sleep Care

Most Albertans who need a sleep specialist wait six months to a year for an appointment. Many live hours from the nearest sleep clinic. Just Sleep Care was built to solve that. We provide fully virtual, physician-led sleep medicine consultations and home-based testing so that anyone in Alberta can access specialist-level care, wherever they live.

Our Clinical Team

Just Sleep Care is a physician-led practice. Every patient is supported by a coordinated team of regulated health professionals, each licensed or certified to practice within their specialty in Alberta.

Physicians

Our physicians are certified specialists in sleep disorder medicine with over 15 years of experience in medicine. All physicians are licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) to practise their medical specialty in Alberta.

Registered Nurses

Our registered nurses are licensed by the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). They support patient education, care coordination, and follow-up throughout your treatment.

Sleep Technologists

Our registered polysomnographic technologists are certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT), demonstrating recognized expertise in sleep diagnostic testing and patient care.

Why We Started

Sleep disorders are among the most prevalent, most underdiagnosed, and most undertreated conditions in Canada. In Alberta, the combination of long distances, limited availability of specialists, and complex referral pathways means many people wait many months before receiving help. We know that untreated sleep apnea increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. We know that chronic insomnia affects every part of a person's life. These are not minor inconveniences. They are serious health conditions with effective treatments.

Just Sleep Care was founded to make those treatments accessible without the barriers that stop most people from getting them. Virtual care is not a compromise. For most sleep conditions, it is the right approach.

Our Approach

We do not believe in running tests for the sake of running tests. We do not keep you in the system longer than necessary. Our goal is to identify the cause of your sleep problem, provide a clear answer, and implement an effective treatment plan as quickly as possible.

All care is delivered by regulated health professionals licensed to practice in Alberta. We follow current clinical guidelines for sleep medicine and we document everything clearly so that your Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner is informed and your records are accurate.

Our Commitments

Clinically Grounded
